My name is Charlotte Hargreave. I graduated from the Glass and Ceramic School on Bornholm in 2002. From 2004 till 2009 I had the glass studio Celsiusglas in collaboration with 2 other designers. My design "carafe" was included in Danish Crafts Collections cc11 and cc12. I typically take an explorative approach based on a given technique. My works are created on the basis of numerous trials that I blow, cut up and combine in ways that often produce a result that deviates from the original intention. I find inspiration in the design of the 1950’s and 60’s; my expression is simple and rooted in Scandinavian design traditions.
